Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I think more about the past than the future as I journal. I stay in the present moment when I write, exercise, and stay in the zone. I do not think about the future except to know that it will be better than the past because I do a lot of positive atomic habits now. I expect the future to take care of itself as I do the right things today.

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

The greatest gift someone could give me is a good conversation where we both feel heard and understood. I love deep conversations. I do love massages if you want to provide me with one. A good home-cooked meal is fantastic. Words of affirmation are also my love language. Whatever makes me feel good is appreciated!

Do you play in your daily life? What says β€œplaytime” to you?

I love my hobby of blogging and writing. It feels like play for me. I would love to turn my hobby into a living. I love to hang out with my friend and drive around during Spring and Summer. We play games like tossing the football, hiking in the forests, and nostalgic video games like Super Mario 3. I love to write, and it feels like play. Exercise feels like play at times.

Talk about your father or a father figure in your life.

My father and I do not get along. I do not like him, and he does not like me. We have different philosophies on life. My father is the type to embarrass his child publicly by pointing out his flaws to his family and friends. He is rude and swears nonstop. He does not talk, nor do I speak to him. I tried. He likes to complain and criticize everyone. He thinks he knows it all, yet sits at home and watches tv all day. He is a lying, cynical, illiterate, lazy south Indian male. He has never said a compliment to his wife, me, or my brother.
