Prayer

β€œBring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, β€œand see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” – Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

Dear God:
I want to remind you that I am a tither. I am happy to set aside ten percent of my income for our local church here. I tithe as recommended by The Word.

I like that our church provides services to our neighborhood in various ways, from free lunches, spiritual guidance and having a place for people to gather for worship.

I know you have a lot going on, but I wanted to tell you in writing that I tithe.

Thank you.

Prayer:

Dear God:

How are you doing? I am doing well, thanks to you.

People like me feel anxious because we want to be treated fairly as workers.

Could you please help ease our hearts and show us how to thrive in our current economy?

I want us workers to get paid well and have the proper time off so that we can care for our families and ourselves.

I thank you for hearing my prayer. If it is your will, could you help transform our economy so that more of us can benefit from the progress?

Thank you.

β€œDo not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” – Philippians 4:6 (NIV)
